Kevin Tighe, Campaign Manager

Cincinnati is Kevin’s adopted home. As a Milwaukee native, Kevin came to Cincinnati in 2009 to attend Xavier University. Upon graduating in 2013, Kevin joined David Pepper’s campaign for Ohio Attorney General where he focused on southwest Ohio. After a brief consulting stint, Kevin moved to Louisville, KY and worked on Jack Conway’s campaign for Kentucky Governor, managing the fundraising staff for the statewide campaign. Hoping to return to his adopted city, Kevin took on the role of Finance Director for Denise Driehaus’s successful campaign for Hamilton County Commissioner. Despite his young age, Kevin comes with a plethora of experience. He is the founder of Stratis Campaigns, LLC – a political strategy, communications and fundraising consulting firm.

“I’m driven to get good people in the position to make our world a better place,” Kevin said. “I believe Tamaya can and will do just that. Kevin lives in East Walnut Hills with his wife, Mary, and their puppy, Derby.


Elijah Palmer, Vol. Deputy Campaign Manager

Born in Orange County, California and raised in Ohio by his single mother, Melanie, Elijah prides himself on being a mostly-average 11-year old boy. His interests include genetic science, cooking and technology. His biggest interest is film; Elijah acts, directs and produces with his own production company – Bacon Pancake Productions ©.

It was Elijah’s love of film that brought him to the campaign. He noticed Tamaya Dennard shared his hope for a fair and just government so he made a video promoting her campaign. The video can be found here.

From then on, Elijah has been a proud member of Tamaya’s campaign team.


Dominique Francisco, Community Relations Director

A Withrow University High School graduate, Dominique Francisco is a Cincinnati native. She is a dynamic and innovate leader with a passion for community based programming. Dominique has spent the past 5 years in nonprofit development, youth advocacy, and community engagement. Dominique is currently the director and founder of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church More Than Conquerors Summer Enrichment Program, which exposes inner city youth to non-violent communication, deep self-exploration, numerous fine arts events, creative writing, health and wellness, and formal table etiquette.

Dominique also serves as a Withrow High School Alumni Board member, and is an avid bodybuilder. Recently, Dominique won the Cincinnati Natural Bodybuilding competition and holds the title of Miss Cincinnati. Dominique currently attends the University of Cincinnati and will complete her academic career in the fall of 2017.


Tara Keesling, Communications Director

A native of West Chester, Ohio, Tara found herself drawn to Cincinnati after graduate school because of all the exciting growth the city is experiencing. Tara has worked in multiple industries developing various skill sets, from teaching at her alma mater, Miami University, to nonprofit work that focused on community building around the Mill Creek, connecting with local businesses and individuals at Yelp Cincinnati, and coordinating locations on some of the larger films to land in the area.

Like many of you, Tara found herself politically activated after the last presidential election. You may recognize Tara from a Together We Will interview. Tara started this Facebook page after the election to educate people on local issues and runs it with several kickass women. Tara is a proud resident of Westwood.


Andy Brown, Organizing Director

Born and raised in Northern Kentucky, Andy is the proud child of a U.S. Navy and fire fighting family. The past three years have led Andy across the country following his passions of grassroots community organizing, the advancement of human rights – specifically voting rights and poverty issues – and other progressive initiatives. Notably, he has organized communities on the Alison Lundergan Grimes U.S. Senate campaign (2014), Jeremy McPike’s VA State Senate campaign (2015), and Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign (2016).

Andy is a first generation college graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Affairs. He also received certificates in International Human Rights and Security Studies. Andy lives in Over-The-Rhine.


Anthony Johnson, Policy Director

The proud product of a military family, Anthony was born and raised in Germany. Since moving to the United States with his family in 2013, he has worked with a number of noteworthy organizations and political campaigns in the Midwest, including Ohio Innocence Project, Urban Morgan Institute for Human Rights, PG Sittenfeld’s campaign for U.S. Senate, and Denise Driehaus’s campaign for Hamilton County Commissioner. Alongside working with candidates, Anthony doubles as a strategy and government affairs consultant at Siemens AG.

In 2017, Anthony graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Cincinnati with degrees in International Affairs and Political Science. He serves on boards of United Nations Foundation, UC Alumni Association, Political Science Association, World Affairs Councils of America, Alexander Hamilton Society, and The Urban League. Anthony lives in Clifton with his partner, Katie-Grace.
